This is the personal website of Aristides Orellana. This page explains what information is collected when you visit it, why, and what you can do about it.
What is collected
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets cookies and records information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, and your device and browser. It is used for aggregate statistics only, not to identify individual visitors. Google handles this data under its privacy policy.
Security and delivery
All traffic passes through Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks and delivers it faster. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie. The site also uses security tools that log IP addresses and requests in order to block malicious traffic. Server and security logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
If you email me, I receive your email address and your message, and I use them only to reply to you.
What is not collected
There are no comments, visitor accounts, newsletters or contact forms on this site, and no data is sold or shared for advertising.
Where data is processed
The site is hosted in the United States. Cloudflare and Google process the data described above according to their own policies.
Your choices
